Justin Lee brings a great video from E3 2008, he interviews Kyle Shubel a managing producer from Sony. it’s great to see the range of weapons, and to hear that you will be driving tanks and other vehicles through out the game. Also the AI for your team members has really been improved, now they will notice you hiding and create cover, rather than just drones following you around the place. Kyle talks us through the first level and discusses the new 32 multi player option that will be on the PS3 Game.

Basically the new multiplayer options will revolve between different types of games, i.e. capture the flag, search and destroy, etc.

Fighting in the Warehouse Video

The superior lighting and shading is shown here in the scenes in the warehouse. See how the surroundings change once you shoot the roof in the warehouse, and when you shot certain boxes they explode. In this video your character picks up some extra health and then continues on the missions. This is one of my favourite videos from Killzone2 to date !

Here is another preview video, here we see more game play action. What really looks cool in Killzone 2 is the reactions of the characters when you shoot them. In this video we see how the characters stumble and fall back once they are shot in the head. The scope on the gun makes it easy to aim at the enemy and shoot them right in the middle of the head. You also see how you are the commander of the troop and you need to guide you troops safely into battle.

Here is a another cool video of a showing the game play in Killzone 2. I love how realistic the reloading of the guns is, and how the gun moves as the character moves. It really makes you think you are doing the walking ! Also in this video you see alot of the reloading of guns, and how they are animated. The weapons in Killzone2 look incredible. I can’t wait. Also at the end you see the character turning a wheel from something or other.
